We have been approached on multiple occasions by students of Clinical Anatomy inquiring about the possibility of borrowing laboratory materials to take home for individual study. They were disappointed to find out that this was not allowed due to GA Lab rules.
As a response to the student needs, we decided to create the iLab that everyone can use in own iPhone or Ipad and that could facilitate the learning process. The decision was encouraged by a successful Lab manual trial through handouts which showed a substantial increase in student's performance on those specific topics.
This project will include 7 applications to cover the entire material of Clinical Anatomy and will provide users with the most important anatomical structures only. Notes in the slides should eliminate confusion and the need for additional tutoring.
The iLab could become a useful tool to the instructors for standardizing the laboratory curriculum since the material selected according to the current programs and textbooks of Clinical Anatomy.
